Continuing Education for Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Providers/Sponsors

Department Approved Providers

In order to offer continuing education to Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSWs) and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs), an entity must be approved by the Department, based upon an application, along with the submission of the required fee.

The Department's approval of a provider of continuing education does not constitute the Department’s endorsement of the content, positions or practices that may be addressed in any specific continuing education courses offered by the approved provider.

Courses may only be taken on or after January 1, 2015 from a provider approved by the Department, in order to meet the requirements in law.

You must complete the course or educational activity in order to receive credit; this is particularly true for activities that are completed over a number of days or weeks.

The State Board Office is continuing to review and approve entities that applied to become an approved provider of continuing education, in the order received, and this list is updated on a weekly basis.
