On July 7, 2008, Chapter 207 of the Laws of 2008, requiring physical therapists and physical therapist assistants to complete thirty-six hours of continuing education during each three-year registration renewal period, was signed into law. Only licensees registering after January 1, 2010, will have to verify that the required number of course hours has been achieved.
